Men's Discernment Group
The young men in Discernment Group gather together to learn more about the process of discernment and to offer each other support as they work to discover what it is that God is calling them to in life! In this group, guided by Fr. Vaccaro, these men learn how to determine God’s will for them, share insights, and work towards the ultimate goal of becoming the best-version-of-themselves and the holy men that God created them to be! Are you called to the priesthood? Maybe; maybe not. You’ll never know unless you learn more about it; and if you feel called toward or away from the priesthood you’ll be one step closer to your vocation either way! This group is meant to give you the information you need to help you figure it out.
One of the resources that the group will use is To Save a Thousand Souls by Fr. Brett A. Brannen a book which aims to help guide men who are discerning the Priesthood. The group is open to all men and the meetings are held from 6pm - 8pm in the lounge at the Saint John Bosco Center and include going out for pizza at the end of the discussion each week.
