A Message from Our Chaplain
Welcome to our new digital bulletin. We hope this is an effective tool for you to keep up with the latest things going on at the St. John Bosco Center. I want to highlight this weekly column that will be authored by one of the staff and will focus on a short reflection on different parts of our theme for the year, "Joy is the fruit of appreciation." This phase penned by Matthew Kelly truly represents an attitude that must be fostered in a Christian evangelist. We must be people of joy, so we should learn the art of gratitude and appreciation for the many blessings we have. I want to challenge us all to appreciate before we criticize. As a simple exercise, before you criticize someone, ask yourself, "What is a good quality he/she has?". This simple task can begin to lessen the hold of the spirit of being critical.
Have a wonderful week and know of my daily prayers for each of you.

Friday Fun Update from Allison McCrumb
The Fun Friday Committee would like to thank Father, Katrina, and Sarah for ordering a foldable tabletop ping pong table. This week we had a House Party where we played ping pong, jeopardy, and guessed the theme songs to different TV shows. We hope everyone who attended had a great time! Next week there will be no Fun Friday since fall break begins next weekend. Enjoy your time with your family. When we return from break, we will take our annual trip to BELVEDERE PLANTATION! There will be corn mazes, pig races, a pumpkin patch and more! The cost is $15 per person. Secure your spot by signing up on Sign Up Genius now or bring your $15 to the Saint John Bosco Center within 24 hours of filling out the Google Form. Prayer of the Week from Liturgy
A Prayer for the Way to Peace
Father of love, hear my prayer. Help me to know Your Will and to do it with courage and faith. Accept my offering of myself, all my thoughts, words, deeds, and sufferings. May my life be spent giving You glory. Give me the strength to follow Your call, so that Your Truth may live in my heart
and bring peace to me and to those I meet, for I believe in Your Love.
A Note from the Supper Social Table…
We want to thank Anne Devine Tetor for coming out and speaking with us about mental health and the Saints! She offered an interesting perspective and challenge to grow both spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Next week, we will be having a chipotle-style meal. Make sure to come out and enjoy some great tacos and hear a Q&A with our own Father Vaccaro on Catholic Social Teaching! Submit your questions now in the box on the front desk of the St. John Bosco Center.
