ARISE: VA CCM Summit 2017

Join us for an overnight at the Greater Richmond Convention Center with over one thousand Catholic college students from all over Virginia for 24 amazing hours of fellowship, worship, and teaching.  You don’t want to miss this!

Highlights of the weekend will include:

  • Keynote speaker Curtis Martin, Founder and CEO of FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students)

  • Music from the Ike Ndolo Band

  • Multiple workshops and panels on a variety of relevant Catholic topics

  • Fellowship with Catholic students from all over Virginia

  • Mass with Bishop Francis DiLorenzo of the Richmond Diocese 

The basic schedule will consist of a general session on Friday night followed by the entertainment for the event and time for students from different campuses to get to know one another before heading to the hotel for the night. The morning session will begin around 9am with another general session and mass with Bishop DiLorenzo followed by time for Confession, Lunch, and students to socialize with each other.  In the afternoon we'll have workshops, men’s and women’s Sessions, and panel discussions. Finally we will have a closing session which will include Adoration.  Following this dinner will be provided and participants will hit the road.

The cost is $30 for UMW students and includes lodging, transportation, and meals. You can register for the event at vaccmsummit.com. Registration opens January 9th.
